Step 5: Enable Inventory Tracking

For each variant:

  1. Turn ON Track Inventory

  2. Enter stock quantity for each SKU

Example:

  • MA-7-RD → 50 units

  • MA-9-BL → 20 units

  • MA-11-GR → 10 units

This ensures proper stock control.

Step 6: Add Variant-Specific Images (Important for Shoes)

Wix allows you to assign different images per color.

  1. Click on a Color variant

  2. Upload specific images for:

    • Red shoe

    • Blue shoe

    • Green shoe

    • Brown shoe

This improves user experience dramatically.

Step 7: Save & Publish

  1. Click Save

  2. Click Publish

Now your store shows:

  • One Shoe Product Page

  • Dropdown for Size

  • Dropdown or color selector for Color

  • Each selection connected to its own SKU

What Happens in Backend?

When a customer selects:

Size 9 + Blue

Wix automatically:

  • Uses SKU MA-9-BL

  • Deducts inventory only from that variant

  • Records sales under that SKU

Perfect inventory control
