However, many clients face a common dilemma — should they set up Google Workspace on their own, or let a trusted service provider handle it on their behalf?
In this blog, we’ll walk you through both options, the cost implications, and why many clients prefer a managed setup — especially when billing is done from India.
Option 1: Self-Managed Google Workspace Setup
If you’re comfortable managing billing, setup, and technical configurations yourself, this is a great option. Here’s what it involves:
You sign up directly on Google Workspace.
You use your own billing information.
You manage everything yourself, from user creation to DNS settings and tax compliance (if applicable).
Option 2: Managed Setup – Let Us Do It for You
Many of our clients choose to let us handle the entire setup process on their behalf. Here’s why:
1. Cost Advantage
Google Workspace pricing is significantly lower when billed from India compared to international pricing. For example:
Monthly cost per email ID: ₹161
Annual cost per email ID: ₹161 × 12 = ₹1,932
GST (18%): ₹347
Total per email ID per year: ₹2,279
So, if you're setting up 3 email IDs, the total annual cost would be:₹2,279 × 3 = ₹6,837
2. Income Tax Compliance: Form 15CB Submission
Form 15CB, certified by a Chartered Accountant (CA). CA Charges for Form 15CB Submission per year: ₹6,000

Please note that email routing is required regardless of whether you choose Option 1 (self-managed) or Option 2 (managed setup).
There is a fixed additional cost of ₹990 per year for email routing, which remains the same irrespective of the number of email accounts you set up with the email provider.
